The Gifted Guide is a collection of resources for gifted and advanced placement teachers working with all grade levels and specialties. I created this website to guide educators in meeting the needs of their gifted learners and to put all my knowledge about gifted curriculum and needs in one place. I hope you love it as much as I do!

About Me

Hi, I'm Sarah Young, creator of The Gifted Guide! I've been a gifted educator since 2012, working with students in grades K-12. When the pandemic hit, I launched The Gifted Guide as a passion project. It took off in a way I couldn't have imagined! As a result, I started working as a gifted education consultant. I've helped dozens of districts implement or improve their gifted programs, curriculum, and teacher trainings.

Let me know how I can help you!

I've had the opportunity to speak at several gifted conferences, publish some of my work, and teach the affective gifted needs course at Truman State University, in addition to teaching and consulting. I would love to work with your district to provide virtual gifted services, revamp curriculum, or lead professional development training.

Creating websites for gifted programs is one of the services I offer for the districts and teachers I work with. There are sections for parents, general education teachers, and students. It can be a great resource for differentiation, meeting social and emotional needs outside the gifted classroom, and dispelling myths surrounding gifted education.
